Originally organized in England in August 1994, today’s XVIII Airborne Corps contains two of the most famous Airborne units in history, the 82nd and the 101st. Two more renowned Army Divisions, the 3rd Infantry (Marne Division) and the 10th Mountain, round out the Corps’ four major formations. Of the four, only one—the 82nd Airborne—is headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina,  home of the XVIII Airborne HQ.
