Two pieces in white glaze.  One has two handles (red clay), the other a crimped edge with green glaze  (whitish clay).    Nell Cole Graves is from one of the great North Carolina Pottery familes.. Her father J.B. Cole taught her how to spin pottery as a young girl.. her first commercial pots were produced in 1922.    Both pieces are marked with J.B. Cole Pottery, Seagrove, NC  and the year and age Nell was when she made it - 85 and 87.      She sadly passed away in 1997 at the age of 88.
